Sonya Mauldin graces a Cover Editorial in Artelles Fashion February Magazine Vol 872. Y.A.A was inspired by Yaa Asantewaa, Queen mother of the Edweso Tribe (Ghana). This project was also inspired by the androgynous singer, actress, and model Grace Jones. Y.A.A portrays strength, power, feminism, masculinity, and black creativity in a series of three parts.

“Rose//Pure” is now published in Roidix Magazine’s Vol 163 December issue 2021. Roidix is a magazine for the fashion-forward who want to maintain their delicate and elegant sense of style. This was a collaboration between local designers and creators. These dresses were designed and beautifully crafted by DH Fashion Designs. Evan Givens (SadGod) captured these images of fashion model Sonya Mauldin in this elegant yet striking design in their recent shoot for Roidix Magazine.

Elite Model Troupe is a nonprofit mentoring organization for girls from ages 5 to 18 based in South Carolina, founded by Angel Wheeler. Sonya Mauldin facilitated poses and expression guidance for the aspiring models at the photoshoot. The Angels' Elite Model Troupe photograph session was a great opportunity to help these talented individuals grow as models and people while taking beautiful photos that will last forever! Publication “Bloom” was published in PUMP Magazine The Floral Issue Vol 1. This editorial was inspired by the evolution and growth of everyone who took part in this project. The team has blossomed so much over the years and this was the perfect theme to match.
